A dance fitness program developed specifically for students with disabilities

At iDance Bendigo we believe that dancing should be for everyone and we are proud to support dancers of all abilities.

We have developed a dance fitness program specifically for students with disabilities that caters for a range of conditions including physical disabilites, intelectual disabilities, aquired brain injuries, autism spectrum disorder etc.

We also encourage carers to get involved in our classes to create a fun environment with a person that is familiar with the student.

The cost for classes may even be claimed under student’s NDIS funding.

Need More Information?

What if I am bound by a wheelchair?

Students in wheelchairs are encouraged to participate and our studio is fully accessible.

What if I cannot attend or don’t want to join in?

We assess the mood of each student and liaise with their carer before and during every class with the understanding that some disabilities can result in the occasional bad day.  We never force any student to participate, rather we find that a small amount of encouragement combined with the correct structure, discipline and fun usually has students begging to return every week. If a student really does not want to dance we waive the lesson fee.

How much does it cost?

Our IncluzFitDance classes are just $10.00 for a 50 minute class.

How do I pay for classes and lessons?

Payments can be made by cash or credit/visa debit card.  We provide either written or emailed receipts to facilitate NDIS claims.
